We first wrote about Art of Anarchy in the beginning of the year. A supergroup featuring Scott Weiland, (Stone Temple Pilots) Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, (Guns ‘N’ Roses) John Moyer, (Disturbed) and Jon and Vince Votta. When the band started between the Votta brothers and Bumblefoot, they knew the only singer that could handle the variance of the music was Scott Weiland. Our excitement (and everyone else’s) was short-lived, however, because Weiland had other plans with his current band, announcing the next day that he was only helping the  band out in the studio. The self-titled album’s first single, “‘Til the Dust is  Gone,” premiered last week, and you can see it above.

In addition to playing guitars on the album, Bumblefoot produced and engineered the album. As for the Votta brothers, Jon is the architect behind the idea, along with Bumblefoot. He shares the writing and guitar-playing with Bumblefoot. He calls the album “the record I always dreamed of making since I started playing guitar.” Well sure, signing up members of Guns N’ Roses and STP to be in your band sounds like a dream.

The band’s self-titled album is set for release on June 8th, 2015 on Another Century.
