Earlier this year, Deafheaven began working on their follow-up to 2015’s New Bermuda. Today (17th) the group unveiled the first taste from their latest effort with their new single, “Honeycomb.” The album is expected to arrive sometime later this year. In the meantime, check out the track below. It’s a sprawling, upbeat number that will not necessarily sway those that have issued with the band’s shoegazey take on black metal, but it rivals anything on New Bermuda.
