Earth Crisis show some Discipline on new EP

Posted by on April 22, 2015

Earth Crisis recently announced the release of The Discipline, a four song EP due out on May 19th on Bullet Tooth. Half of the EP will be re-recorded songs taken from their 1995 debut Destroy The Machines, and you can now hear how “The Discipline” turned out below. The other half will be two previously unreleased demo tracks from the 90s.

Said founding member and guitarist Scott Crouse:

“We think the songs on Destroy The Machines are still strong, and relevant, two decades later. We have always wanted to re-record them, and figured the 20 year anniversary of the album was a fitting occasion. Our intention isn’t to erase the original versions, just offer another version we feel will offer the power and clarity the songs deserve. We also decided to record two songs we demo’d years ago because they’re great and people need to hear them! “Behind The Mask” and “Time Of Strife” are timeless and we think ExC fans will love them.”

The Discipline is available now for pre-order, with a 7″ camouflage version limited to just 500 copies.
