After revealing work was nearly done on their sophomore album, Ghost began teasing fans yesterday by streaming isolated instrumental tracks of a new song throughout the day via secularhaze.com. The idea was that by today (December 15), the new song titled “Secular Haze” would be heard in its entirety. Well, Ghost have kept true to their promise.

Not only can fans hear “Secular Haze” fully (and isolated tracks by hovering over the webpage’s candles) on secularhaze.com, but also in the video above. Though the album titled and its exact 2013 release date is still unknown, “Secular Haze” is indeed our first taste of Ghost’s sophomore album. And if you were a fan of their debut  Opus Eponymous, then you’ll certainly love this new song!

Listen to “Secular Haze” now in the video above [UPDATE: embedding had been disabled, but the video will direct you to the band’s YouTube page]. More details regarding the new album’s release should come soon.
