Next Friday (21), Korn will release their twelfth studio album, The Serenity of Suffering. Their first album back after a five year hiatus from Roadrunner, the band have been doling out some other songs from the album, with “Rotting in Vain,” “Insane,” and “A Different World” already out there. Today, via the Wall Street Journal of all places, the band debuted a fourth song, “Take Me.” It’s not the band’s cover of A-ha’s “Take On Me,” nor is it their version of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.” It is however, a pretty concise song that’s plenty heavy, with a melodic chorus. In short, if you like or have liked Korn, especially during their first few albums, you’ll find plenty to like about the song. If you’re not a Korn fan, then why are you even reading this?

The Serenity of Suffering will be released on Roadrunner Records on October 21st, and can be pre-ordered here.
