Krallice drop a surprise EP

krallice-hyperionKrallice’s 2015 album Ygg huur, wound up on some year-end lists, and although it was just released in July, the New York black metal band have already released more music. On New Year’s Day, they dropped Hyperion, a three-song EP. According to Bandcamp, where it’s available, it was recorded in July 2013, so unless that’s a typo, they’ve been sitting on this for a while. It doesn’t sound like leftovers, though. We didn’t spend enough time with Ygg Huur to compare this to it, but it’s a nice, compact blast of about 23 minutes spread out over three songs. The EP is available digitally for $6 and as a limited edition (500 copies) CD for $10, and you can grab it here after streaming it below.
