Heavy Metal Music. The title of Jason Newsted’s first solo album is straightforward and to the point, and so is the album. And while the first full length album to bear his name won’t be out until next Tuesday (6), it’s streaming now. It’s not the heaviest thing ever, but the former Metallica bassist, who’s band features Staind guitarist Mike Mushok, has released an album that will definitely appeal to Metallica fans from his era of the band.
