More Faith No More news is super

Posted by on February 13, 2015

Faith No More fans were ecstatic when the band reunited in 2009. In fact, you could say faith was restored. The excitement was only exacerbated when Faith No More came out with a new song, “Motherfucker” for Record Store Day. While fans first heard it live a few years ago, the studio version was cause for more fanboy and fangirling. With the May 19th release of Sol Invictus  looming, another song they’ve played live, “Superhero,” has been announced for March 17th. Only 5,000 copies will hit stores, with a digital release on March 31st. And while we’ve known this for a bit, now we know what the B-side of the single will be. Alexander Hacke of Einstürzende Neubauten created a remix of the song titled “Superhero Battaglia.” A music video for the single is in the works as well.

Look for Sol Invictus on the bands own Reclamation! Recordings label via Ipecac on May 19th.
