melecheshAre you a fan of Sumerian music? No, not Sumerian Records, even though that’s fine if you’re into that sort of thing. We’re talking about the music of the ancient Iraqis. If so, you’re probably a fan of Melechesh, the Israeli black metal band that incorporates plenty of middle eastern influences  and songs about Mesopotamian history. The band’s sixth full-length album, and first in five years, Enki, is coming out in America a full week and a half after it’s available in Europe, but don’t worry about that, because it’s streaming in its entirety. The album will be out on Nuclear Blast on February 27th, and we’ll be able to pick it up here in America on March 10th. You can preorder it here.
