As you already know, Shadows Fall have a new album coming out this Spring (which may or may not be titled The Fire From The Sky). With that in mind, the band also wants to begin the next phase in their career with a new logo. And they want YOU to help them design that logo.

That’s why with the help of Talenthouse.com, Shadows Fall have launched a contest to find their new logo design. This contest is encouraging fans to create a logo for the band to use on all official merchandise and marketing materials. While various prizes will be given to runner ups, the designer whose logo is chosen by Shadows Fall will win the following:

-$250 cash prize

-Artist profile editorial feature on MetalSucks

-VIP tickets to a local Shadows Fall show, with access to meet the band

-Have their design featured as Shadows Fall’s default image on all of their social media accounts for a miniumum of two weeks

-Signed copy of new Shadows Fall album.

Fans have until March 21 to submit their logo. Then fans will have the chance to vote for their favorites from March 22 to 29. Finally, the winners will be announced on April 5.

However, that’s not the only thing Shadows Fall revealed today. In a video of singer Brian Fair announcing the contest, the band also premiered a snippet of a new song. While we’ve seen video of the band performing a new song live this past weekend, this marks the first time we’ve heard recorded material from the new album. And though it’s only a sample of an untitled track, what we hear sounds pretty awesome.

You can watch the contest announcement and hear a sampling of new material above. And if you think you can create an amazing new logo for Shadows Fall, then enter now at Talenthouse.com.
