Symphonic gothic metallers Sirenia continue to surprise us after each record. While their style remains visible, they aren’t afraid of trying something new after each release. These experiments seem to continue with their overall tenth studio effort and third with vocalist Emmanuelle Zoldan, Riddles, Ruins & Revelations, which is scheduled to arrive on February 12th, 2021. Today (12th), the group has unveiled the second single “We Come To Ruins.” The track is much different than the first single, “Addiction No. 1,” as it captures more ambiance, yet harsh, and always somber side thus far, making us curious what direction the rest of the album will move towards. 

Mastermind Morten Veland comments:

“‘We Come To Ruins’ is the second single from our upcoming album. This song shows SIRENIA from a heavier side, although it is a very dynamic song with many changes in both atmosphere and intensity. It is probably a more “typical” SIRENIA song than our first single, but still with a modern approach.”
