The Black Dahlia Murder are putting out a  7″ as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday festivities. This would be the band’s first new recorded material since 2013s Everblack. According to the the band’s Facebook:

Coming Black Friday 2014 on A389 Recordings”

The Black Dahlia Murder have a full-length in the works, too. Vocalist Trevor Strnad recently told Detroit’s Macomb Daily that a new album in 2015 is in the early stages of coming together.

“There’s just a few riffs floating around but nothing too much right now,” he says. “Typically there’s nothing written on the road. The guys prefer to write in solitude, I think, in their underwear with their computers. Then they send them to me and I come in in my underwear, too, at my computer by myself and try my best to outdo what I’ve done before.”

The band starts their October tour today with Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin and Alterbeast.
