Apparently, things got pretty crazy on Watian’s wild hunting trip, somehow ending up at mandatory child murder. Or maybe it’s just “The Child Must Die”, a new track from the Swedish black metal group’s upcoming album The Wild Hunt. The graphic in the video for the track depicts some sort of Lion King gone wrong scenario, with what can only be the titular child being thrown off a cliff by the band and some monks in robes, while one bandmember kills someone else with a knife. Pretty grim stuff. Metal Insider already got a chance to hear the new album and talk to frontman Erik Danielsson about it, and the group has also released a lyric video for the track “All That May Bleed“. This one is a bit more downtempo and melodic than “All That May Bleed”, but it is still some pretty killer black metal. The full album comes out on August 20th from Century Media/ His Masters Noise.
