Coronavirus: Rammstein 2020 Stadium Tour CANCELLED

Posted by on May 8, 2020

On April 17th, Rammstein stated how they were looking for a solution to have their summer stadium tour happen. Today (8th), these German industrial metal giants have announced their 2020 stadium tour is officially cancelled. According to the band’s website, their European stadium tour, initially scheduled to kick off on May 25th, is the tour that’s no longer happening, suggesting their North American run is on, for now. However, according to the band’s social media, their “2020 Stadium Tour” will not take place. While there seems to be a bit of confusion, it seems highly unlikely their North American trek will happen at this present moment.

Read the band’s full statement below:

“Due to local event restrictions related to COVID-19, which now affect almost all planned dates, the band’s 2020 stadium tour can unfortunately not take place.

We are currently checking whether it is possible to reschedule the dates and will communicate any updates as soon as possible!

All tickets will remain valid until then. Thank you again for your understanding and patience.”
