Due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in cancelling or postponing nearly all major events, including this year’s Download Festival, many organizers have been using this time to get creative by taking advantage of virtual tools. With that being said, Download Festival has announced Download TV, a three-day virtual festival that will take place on June 12-14th, 2020. The full lineup will be announced shortly. However, the weekend event is set to showcase unseen performances, interviews, exclusive footage, interactive content, and more.

The festival organizers announced via social media:

“Downloaders, get ready for Download TV. A 3 day virtual festival coming at you live via the Download social channels 12-14 June 2020, featuring unseen performances, interviews and interactive content. Pitch your tent, erect your flags and prepare to mosh, we’re bringing Donington to you this Summer!”
