For the first time since the tragic attack on the Bataclan theater in Paris, France back in November, vocalist/guitarist of the band Eagles of Death Metal, Jesse Hughes, has returned to the city according to DailyMail.co.uk, which also has photos of him arriving at the airport. This is the first time that the band has returned to the country following the devastating attacks on the city that tragic night on Friday, November 13th.

The Bataclan has been closed since the incident, but the Eagles have already pledged to return, hoping to be the first band to play there after it re-opens. To hear the words directly from the band, you can check out the exclusive interview they did with Vice.

Despite rumors that EODM may be performing on stage with U2 while in the city, the band (U2) took to their website to clear up the matter stating “We’re back in Paris and it’s great to be here. Some people have been saying that Eagles Of Death Metal will appear on stage with U2 tonight. This is not the case. We have another surprise guest planned for tonight’s show[12/6/15].‎”
