While it’s safe to take a Fear Factory rumor with a grain of salt at this point, it appears we could hopefully see a new album sometime in 2021. Guitarist Dino Cazares celebrated his 54th birthday yesterday (2nd) by expressing his excitement on a possible new Fear Factory music in 2021.

Cazares shared a photo via Instagram with the following comment:

“Today 9/2 is my 54th Birthday. I’ve been through a lot of shit these past 4 years. FF Lawsuits (I won) Bankruptcy Lawsuit ( I won) Huge Legal Debt (need help) Divorce( not easy) W/help from my family and friends Im thriving & surviving. There have been rumors about a follow-up to 2015’s Genexus since roughly four years ago when a new record was expected to arrive in 2017 and 2019. Cazares has been spending a significant amount of time dealing with Fear Factory related lawsuits, which led to some confusion if the group broke-up or a potential name change. Hopefully, we will have more clarity in 2021, along with hearing something new from Fear Factory.
