Photographer Terry Richardson is known for pushing boundries, and with shock-rocker Marilyn Manson he goes even further but in a very endearing way.

In a series of photos on Richardson’s Tumblr, the iconic Manson strikes many a pose with his dad, Hugh Warner, for the March issue of Paper magazine (available here). Marilyn Manson’s dad is a Viet Nam Veteran, or, as Manson Jr. refers to him in a Guardian interview, a “mass murderer.”

Manson has been keeping busy in recent months. He recently joined the Smashing Pumpkins on stage at Soundwave Festival in Australia, and will be in a new film, Street Level, due out later this year. Oh, and the band will be touring in support of their latest album, The Pale Emperor, starting in late-April.
