On April 28th, Mastodon guitarist and singer Brent Hinds proposed to his girlfriend onstage at the band’s show in Birmingham, AL. This past Saturday, the band’s tour with Eagles of Death Metal and Russian Circles ended. Hinds and his fiancee, Raisa Moreno seemed to not waste any time, as they’re now husband and wife. The two tied the knot yesterday, with Hinds’ bandmate in West End Motel, Tom Cheshire, serving as best man. Hinds was the only member of Mastodon that wasn’t married, and has a reputation as the loose cannon of the band. It looks like his marriage to Moreno might calm him down. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Hinds.
