Metallica are back at spot #2 on the Billboard 200 charts with their latest effort, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, which was released during the fall of 2016. The successful album has already reached the number 1 spot of the Top 50 Hard Rock albums of 2017, and many have speculated it had everything to do with bundling the record with concert ticket sales from their massive North American Trek. Since the group announced their second leg of dates, it looks as though they’ve done it again as Billboard reports the LP went from 42-2 with 65,000 units, of which 63,000 were traditional album sales.
