Primitive Weapons offer ashes or paradise with new track

primitiveThere’s a lot of hype around Primitive Weapons, and deservedly so. The Brooklyn band’s sophomore full length, The Future of Death, is coming out on April 15th, and we’ve already gotten a chance to hear a few tracks from it. “The Electric Drama,”  “Night Eyes,” and  “Panopticon Blues” are all killer tracks for different reasons, and more confident than anything on their solid debut, The Shadow Gallery. Today the band revealed yet another track from the album via Metal Sucks. “Ashes or Paradise” is another killer track from the album. Again, amidst the screaming that’s largely defined the band so far, there’s more melody, and the chugging snaking midtempo groove begs you to not bang your head to it.

The Future of Death will be released on Party Smasher, Inc. on April 15th. That’s also the same day they’ll be playing Saint Vitus Bar as part of the venue’s fifth anniversary with Pallbearer and Sannhet, but you’re shit out of luck if you want to see that, since it’s sold out.
