Red Fang unveil new ‘Red Fang Red’ wine

Posted by on January 3, 2018

Red Fang have teamed up with Teutonic Wine Company for a new brand of wine called Red Fang Red. This flavorful wine is blended with three different flavors – Pinot Noir, Tannat, and Gewürztraminer. To celebrate the drink’s arrival, there will be a wine party at the Teutonic Wine Company in Portland, OR on January 13th. Not only will drummer John Sherman be attending, he will also take part in doing a special DJ set throughout the event.

Sherman expressed his excitement:

“Everyone thinks we’re very much about beer and our videos definitely portray us that way. We do drink beer, but I personally prefer wine and consequently, I’ve always wanted to make a Red Fang wine. To meet winemakers who also dig heavy music was a dream come true. The first time I went to Teutonic’s tasting room, they were playing Saxon on vinyl and I said to myself, ‘these are my people.’”

Later this month, Red Fang will be joining Black Label Society and Corrosion of Conformity on tour. Check out those dates here and look for the band to be slamming wine instead of PBR in their next video, perhaps.
