Israel’s Scardust have announced a Livestream event titled Breaking The Ice. The virtual free entry performance will occur on March 18th at 19:00 GMT, 11:00 PST, 14:00 EST, 20:00 CET. Donations and the event is available at this location. The show will be the first to feature the group’s new members, Orr Didi (bass) and Aaron Friedland (keyboards), as bassist Yanal Avnet and keyboardist Itai Portugali have recently left the prog/symphonic metal outfit.

Singer Noa Gruman explains:

“This show is extra exciting for us for two reasons. First, it is the first full show we’ll be playing since last march and since “Strangers” was released. Second, it will be the first show with our two new (but also old) band members: Orr Didi who co-founded the band with me, and wrote our 3 releases with me, will pick up the bass. And Aaron Friedland – who is a long time friend and was actually the first keyboardist who ever got an offer to play with us, back when we started the band.”

The group previously commented on the split:

“They are, and will always, stay good friends and part of the Scardust family. We called (Orr) the ‘ghost member’ of Scardust. Up until this point, he was writing and composing in the shadows. We are SUPER-excited to have Orr with us on-stage and in the studio from now on. Aaron is an old friend, and actually was the first keyboardist to get an offer to play with us back when we started the band. As you know, it didn’t work out at first, but it was definitely worth the wait. Aaron is a magician on those keys, as you will all soon learn. We can’t wait to rock stages together!”
