Slipknot’s Clown recalls fan selling their car for concert tickets

Extreme fans of bands don’t do anything half-assed. You never know what tattoos they will get, the amount of merch they will collect, or how much they will spend in order to see their favorite band perform in front of their eyes. Prior to the release of Slipknot’s documentary Day of the Gusano, percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan reflected on a fan’s commitment.

He told  AltPress:

“I met some people that sold their car to get tickets for their whole family. That’s insane to me – to sell a vehicle for the idea of rock’n’roll, for a band called Slipknot.”

Slipknot’s film will be screened in select cinemas next Wednesday (6) which was recorded during their 2015 Knotfest experience in Mexico City.
