Some Kind of Kirk Hammett Funko Monster available in July

Posted by on June 28, 2019

Kirk Hammett loves horror films as we’ve seen his collection at the Peabody Museum. This July, the Metallica guitarist will once again show off his extensive collection at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The It’s Alive Classic and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection will run from July 13th to January 5th, 2020. During this particular exhibit, Funko have announced Kirk Hammett Pop, a limited series of two Universal Monsters: Frankenstein’s Monster and The Creature From the Black Lagoon. Unfortunately, these items will not be available online as they will be sold exclusively as part of the It’s Alive exhibit with only 1,008 pieces of each figure.

For  those who enjoy these Pop! action figures as well as a fan of Hammett and his collection, perhaps this would be a great idea to plan a road trip to see the exhibit and bring Pop! Hammett along for the ride (order one here). Road trips with Pop! Hammett have been done before, as you can see a few images below:
