More bands have been added to Megadeth’s inaugural MegaCruise line-up. The new additions include Suicidal Tendencies and Death Angel, as well as Megadeth tribute band Mecanix.

These bands add to an already stacked line-up of metal legends and new-comers. Aside from Megadeth, previously announced performers for the cruise include Anthrax, Testament, Queensrÿche, DragonForce, Corrosion of Conformity, Toothgrinder, Sacred Reich, John 5, Metal Church, Metalachi and more.

Megadeth announced MegaCruise back in September/October 2018, calling it

“five days and nights of heavy metal decadence and debauchery.”

Taking place aboard the newly updated Norwegian Jewel, the ship will set sail on October 13 from Los Angeles, CA and will make stops in San Diego, CA and Ensenada, Mexico before returning to LA on October 18. According to the event website, concertgoers can expect

“artist photo experiences, artist Q & As, beer tasting, guitar/bass/drum clinics, morning coffee jams, charity auction, special theme nights, cornhole tournament, Megadeth themed events and many more cool happenings to be announced!”

In 2018, Megadeth celebrated their 35th anniversary together by reissuing their debut album, Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good! The band will be continuing their 35th anniversary celebration this year with the release of  their greatest hits album, titled Warheads on Foreheads, on March 22 as well as a Graphic novel arriving in June. In addition to that release, the band is also planning to put out a new album sometime in 2019.

Throughout the summer, Megadeth will be opening for the North American leg of Ozzy Osbourne’s No More Tours 2 North American trek. There has also been talk of a traveling music and beer festival called “Kegadeth” in the works, but no dates for that have been announced yet.
