Surviving Linkin Park members remember Chester Bennington on anniversary of his death

Posted by on July 20, 2018

It’s difficult to believe a year has passed since Chester Bennington’s death. The Linkin Park singer hanged himself at his private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County exactly one year ago from today, July 20th, 2017. Earlier this morning, surviving Linkin Park members have paid a tribute in honor of their lost bandmate.

The group shared the following message:

“To our brother Chester,
It has been a year since your passing—a surreal rotation of grief, heartbreak, refusal, and recognition. And yet it sill feels like you are close by, surrounding us with your memory and your light. Your one-of-a-kind spirit has authored an indelible imprint on our hearts—our jokes, our joy, and our tenderness.
Eternally grateful for the love, life, and creative passion you shared with us and the world. We miss you more than words can express.
Love,
M, J, D, R, B”
