Renowned guitarist, Alex Skolnick was able to sit down and chat with Dan Roth of Music & Art Interviews about his eventful career. During the chat, Skolnick mentioned that Metal Allegiance has already recorded a follow-up record. He also hinted at Testament signing up to a North American tour that could be the biggest one of the year:

Metal Allegiance also has a follow-up record that is recorded and it’s going to be great. Mark Menghi and I wound up being the main production team on this one and I recently went in and did some edits. It is very heavy but with some very cool creative stuff that I am excited about. We also have some touring in Europe planned.

And Testament just signed on to a North American tour that I can’t talk about yet, but it will be one of the biggest tours of the year.

Rumors have been flying around that this tour would consists of Slayer, Lamb of God and Testament. Vocalist, Randy Blythe recently indicated that Lamb of God was planning a big summer trek. This would be a killer lineup, and hopefully, it turns out to be true.

During the rest of the interview, the two talked about his days in Savatage, his move to New York City and and the beginning of his jazz career. Check it out here.
