W.A.S.P. have a new label home

LA metal legends W.A.S.P. have a new label home. After releasing two albums on Demolition Records, the Blackie Lawless-led group have signed with Napalm Records and will be releasing Golgotha later this year.

Said Lawless, the band’s lone founding member:

“W.A.S.P. are excited to announce they have signed an exclusive recording contract with Napalm Records. We chose Napalm for their personal belief and professional commitment to our career. We’re looking forward to years of great success together starting with the release of our upcoming album, ‘Golgotha’.”

This will be W.A.S.P.’s 15th studio album, 31 years after the 1984 release of their self-titled debut. It’s been six years since they’ve released an album, with Babylon coming out in 2009. And thankfully for everyone involved, Chris Holmes won’t be on this album.
