We’ll be spending our first week back in 2010 polling the metal industry for predictions on what we’ll see in the business and beyond this year. Today, Mark LaFay of Middle Coast Management (Gwen Stacy, Haste The Day, Armana Reign) lends us his vision:

I think 2010 will be a big year for a lot of people and a bummer for some.

The Colts will win the Super Bowl, Cubs will be world champions, and Pacers season tickets will continue to get cheaper and cheaper.

Historians will look back in 10 years and say that 2010 was the start of America’s 2nd Internet boom.

The war on Terror will be re-named the war on tax payers.

[Rev.] Dave Ciancio [manager of Shadows Fall] will eat 367 burgers.

Lady Gaga will start acting and James Cameron will buy half of Hollywood.

Century Media will put out 2 of the top 10 best/biggest metal albums of 2010.

The “Big Four” tour will play the US, and finally, the mother of all 2010 predictions…

Pantera will reunite for at least one tour with fill in guitar players on the road.
