Track premiere: Wreath of Tongues unleash frantic title track

Posted by on June 8, 2017

Tomorrow, New York City’s Wreath of Tongues will be releasing their self-titled single in advance of their debut EP, Out With The Good (which will be out on July 21st). The band, which features former Hivesmasher vocalist Aaron Heinold, formed last year and began playing around with several names until settling on Wreath of Tongues. The band’s frenetic party metal, which has been called “weekend hardcore,” is in full display on the two-minute romp “Wreath of Tongues,” which we’re proud to be premiering today. If you’re a fan of Every Time I Die, you’ve just found a new band to love.  Here’s what the band has to say about the song (and it’s title):

“Yeah, we named our band after one of our songs. YOU deal with the fun of people sending you cease and desist emails and see how much you like it. Ever screw up so badly that you know you’ve changed life for the worse because of your careless and selfish actions? This is a story about that.”

The band wil be playing a handful of shows around the EP release, as wel as one next week at Broolyn haunt Saint Vitus Bar. Here’s where you’ll be able to catch them:

6/15 Brooklyn, NY @ Saint Vitus (with Ground, Ten Ton Hammer, Remain)
*7/21 Manchester, NH @ Jewel Music Venue, Manchester NH (with Dysentery, My Missing Half, Shroud, Wombeater, Miley Cyborg)
*7/22 Providence RI @ TBA
*7/23 Kearny, NJ@ Hartley’s (with Pink Mass, Blame God, Cemeteries, Groza)

*Out With The Good EP Release Shows
