Lansing, MI thrash band Tyrant have been building up their reputation one live show at a time since their 2011 formation. The band did a North American tour last year in support of 2016’s EP, Black Hand, in now in advance of their full-length debut later this year, we’re proud to debut the band’s video for the album’s first single, “Fear of Faith.” Vocalist/guitarist calls the song an ode to outsiders, explaining:

“It’s about not wanting to be pushed into something that you believe is a hateful and bigoted world view – religion of any sorts – and still have to be subjected to it,” Winters said. “It’s an ode to people wanting to live their life on their own terms, without fear of some after-life punishment.”

The band’s nine-track full length debut will be out later this year. In the meantime, check out “Fear of Faith” and follow the band on their website, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and download the single on iTunes or Amazon.
