Wanna buy a fixer upper in Los Angeles? No? OK, let’s try again. Wanna buy a fixer-upper in Los Angeles that was owned by Glenn Danzig? Yeah, we thought so! According to Curbed LA, the house is on the market for $1.2 million, which is considerably more than the $275,000 that Glenn purchased it for back in 1989. The house is a bit run down. In fact, way back in 1999, Beck noted that his place was a dump and had a pile of bricks in it. It became enough of a legend that there was a meme about the bricks, and back when MTV used to cover non-pop music, they interviewed Danzig in 1994 after the Northridge earthquake. Danzig hasn’t lived in the house since the early 2000s, but you can own a fixer-upper once owned by the Elvis of evil. If the meme is true, you might have to BYOB (bring your own bricks), but for $1.2 million, if you’re in the market for a house in Los Angeles, you could do worse.
