Jungle Rot will be entering the studio on January 5th, 2018, to produce their forthcoming album. It will be a follow-up to 2015’s Order Shall Prevail, and they are aiming for a Spring 2018 release via Victory Records. The group are teaming up with engineer Chris DJuricic to record the album at Belle City Sound in Racine, Wisconsin and have recruited drummer Jesse Beahler to contribute to the record. This upcoming release has a lot of promise, especially with the mixing and mastering will be done by Dan Swanö (Dark Funeral, Marduk).

The tracklisting is currently set to include the following titles “Delusional Denial,” “Glory For the Fallen,” “Stay Dead,” “Twisted Mind,” “Fearmonger,” “Pumped Full of Lead,” “A Burning Cinder,” “Triggered,” “Full Scale War,” and “Send Forth Oblivion,” as well as possibly adding two cover songs.

The group shared their excitement:

“Once again, we’ve stuck with the tried and true Jungle Rot formula to produce another killer record that all our fans and everyone will enjoy. It’s been nice to get back to doing what we do best and that’s writing brutal, heavy music.” – vocalist/guitarist Dave Matrise

“We’ve got quite a fire under our collective asses and we’re psyched to get this album out! This is going to be a nasty record!” – bassist James Genenz

“We feel lucky to be able to express ourselves for so long through so many albums. I’m hoping our fans will never tire of meat and potatoes metal!” – guitarist Geoff Bub
