Nightwish have announced their first album in five years with Human. :II: Nature. The follow-up to 2015’s Endless Forms Most Beautiful will be released on April 10th via Nuclear Blast. The record will be a double album as disc one will consist of nine tracks and the second disc will feature one long song divided into eight chapters. Human. :II: Nature. Was recorded from August to October 2019 at Röskö campsite, Petrax Studios and Troykington castle, as well as Finnvox Studios, by Tero Kinnunen, Mikko Karmila and Troy Donockley. The mixing was done by Mikko Karmila at Finnvox, with Tuomas Holopainen and Tero Kinnue while the mastering was done by Mika Jussila at Finnvox. This marks their overall ninth full-length effort and second album featuring Floor Jansen on vocals who replaced Anette Olzon in 2012. Pre-orders for album number nine will start on February 7th.
