Nine Inch Nails want to know if you would like bacon with your ‘Hesitation Marks’

Posted by on August 29, 2013

ninIf you are planning on buying Nine Inch Nails’ upcoming CD Hesitation Marks, do it in California. Not only will you get your choice of the CD, deluxe CD or vinyl editions, at select record outlets you could get a burger or bacon with that.

The following record stores will offer a free food item from a corresponding local food truck with Hesitation Marks purchases made at in-st0re events beginning 10 p.m. September 2.

  • Amoeba Hollywood – Coolhaus – 6400 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood
  • Fingerprints – The Lime Truck – 420 E. Fourth St. – Long Beach
  • Rhino – Rounds Premium Burgers – 235 Yale Ave. – Claremont
  • Sound Spectrum – Bacon Media – 1264 S. Coast Highway – Laguna Beach

And no worries, Trent will not try to take your taco. Nine Inch Nails are not scheduled to attend release day events. However, each store will also offer the chance to enter to win tickets to see Nine Inch Nails live September 3 performance at The Troubador in West Hollywood with no purchase necessary.

This is a pretty innovative way to get people in to stores, even though it sounds a little silly. That being said, because it sounds a little silly, it’s inspired a pretty fun Twitter trend. Yes, there’s a #nineinchnailsfoodtrucks thread happening now with some pretty punny Twitter users that have come up with songs like “Happiness in Bakery,” “Bread Like A Hole” and “March of the Pigs In Blankets.” Thanks, Twitter!
