Terrorizer have signed a deal with The End Records and are aiming to release their new album Caustic Attack this fall. The group teamed up with producer Jason Suecof (Deicide, All That Remains, Kataklysm, etc.) to work on the follow-up to 2012’s Hordes of Zombies at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford Florida. Nearly a decade ago, in 2009, drummer Pete Sandoval (ex-Morbid Angel) suffered a severe back injury and had to go through numerous surgeries. Despite the group starting to work on this new record in 2014, Sandoval had to make sure he was healthy enough to perform.

The drummer expressed:

“It feels so great to be back playing every day. I worked really hard on my recovery and all that work is really paying off now because when I play these songs I feel the same way I did in 1990 or 2000. I feel young again and I can play with no problem. And that’s hard to do because this new album has a lot of changes, double-bass, fast blast beats. You name it.”
