The Acacia Strain recently signed a new deal with Rise Records, with a new album expected to come out in the Fall. However, the deathcore band wanted to give fans a taste of new material before then. That’s why they self-released a new song called “Servant In The Place Of Truth” as a digital single.

As you can imagine, The Acacia Strain have made a handful of fans worried over their new label home. During their set at the New England Metal & Hardcore Fest, though, frontman Vincent Bennett assured the crowd that they’re still the same band. And “Servant In The Place Of Truth” is further proof that fans need not to worry that Rise Records’ influence might rub off on them.

“Servant In The Place Of Truth” can be purchased via iTunes and Amazon. In related news, it’s been confirmed that guitarist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz will be producing, engineering and mixing the album in his Western Mass studio. DL first let it slip that he was producing the new album (while Zeuss will handle mastering duties) in an interview with Absolute Punk.

UPDATE: “Servant In The Place Of Truth” has been posted on YouTube by Rise Records, and can be heard in the video below. The song can still be purchased via iTunes and Amazon.
