Rumor alert: Robert Plant’s website fuels Led Zeppelin reunion talk

Posted by on May 3, 2017

Looking at Robert Plant’s website, you will notice everything vanished aside from three words, “Any time now.” Earlier last year, Plant revealed he’s working on a new album with the Sensational Space Shifters and one should expect the site is changing to promote this release. However, others have a theory on another Led Zeppelin reunion to commemorate their fiftieth anniversary.

Feel Numb claims these rumors are true stating:

I have some well placed sources in the industry telling me that Robert Plant has agreed to reunite Led Zeppelin for Desert Trip 2017.  Rumor has it they turned down a reported $14 million dollar pay day to play at last years festival and that this year there are “millions & millions” of more reasons why they should do it.”

The site added:

“Sources tell me he has finally agreed to do it because of the impending 50 year anniversary of Led Zeppelin.”

It’s been ten years since the three surviving members Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones reunited for the Celebration Day concert in 2007. During that time it seemed they were happy to get it over with.
