We aren’t even two weeks into the new year and things are already moving up, down and sideways. Late last week we were relieved to hear that all charges were dropped for Decapitated, while earlier today, we were saddened to hear about the passing of Babymetal guitarist Mikio Fujioka. Unfortunately, death has struck once again.

Former Sworn Enemy drummer Paul Antignani has passed away. He was with the group from 2002 up until 2008. There isn’t too much information about the cause of his death. However, Shadows Fall frontman, Brian Fair, shared the news via paying a tribute on his Instagram.

Flair shared the following:

Absolutely devastated to hear about the passing of Paulie “No Neck” Antignani formerly of Sworn Enemy. In the early 2000s, Shadows Fall and Sworn Enemy toured together a lot and became like brothers. Paulie was always smiling and would instantly make me happy every time I saw him. He was one of the funniest and kindest dudes you could ever meet and always had a beer in his back pocket and a blunt ready. Man I’m just crushed by this news. Much love to everyone out there and remember to hug those you love and enjoy every moment because you never know which moment will be your last. Rest In Power my brother. #RIPPaulieAntignani #SwornEnemy#PaulieNoNeck

Our condolences go out to Antignani’s friends and family during this difficult time.
