As some of you may or may not know, AC/DC’s guitarist and founder Malcolm Young was diagnosed with dementia and stepped down his duties to dedicate his full time to treatment in a nursing home. The guitarist has been residing part time at the Elizabeth Bay Care Home and his $10M waterfront home in Sydney and was spotted by Daily Mail Australia out for a stroll with a friend. While he doesn’t look necessarily as “frail” as the Daily Mail seems to suggest, he does look a bit dazed. AC/DC recently played their first shows without him, appearing on the Grammy Awards and kicking off their tour in support of their newest album Rock or Bust at Coachella.  While Young could not perform but still was part of the writing process. Nephew Stevie Young is filling in the guitar role right now. To add more into the mix, drummer Phill Rudd had to be replaced for the tour by former drummer Chris Slade, due to legal issues, including death threats and drug charges.
