This isn’t exactly news, but Nine Inch Nails is going on a lengthy (or permanent) hiatus after this tour wraps up. Bonnaroo this weekend was the last US stop, and Trent Reznor realized mid-set that it would be the last US performance “ever”.

“It just dawned on me that this is our last show ever in the United States,” Reznor told the crowd. “Don’t be sad. I’ll keep going. But I think I’m going to lose my … mind if I keep doing this, and I have to stop.”

There you have it. The mighty Reznor is now forever gone from our concert venues and our internets.
