Paul Masvidal can now add another bullet to his resume – co-producer to Jim Carrey. The Cynic frontman laid down guitar tracks for an EP accompanying Jim Carrey’s new children’s book How Roland Rolls, released September 24.

The soundtrack included with the book features the songs “Everything & Nothing,” “Hungry,” “I’m All Yours” and “Keep On Roland” sung by Carrey and his daughter Jane.  How Roland Rolls is dedicated to Jane’s son, Carrey’s 3-year-old grandson Jackson, who already has a bit of metal running through his blood. Jackson’s father, who Jane was previously married to, is Alex Santana of the death metal band Blood Money.
