Kat Katz has decided to quit Agoraphobic Nosebleed citing she’s tired of being bullied by dudes and not treated as an equal. Katz left the group Salome for the same reason and now history has repeated itself as her eleven year run with Agoraphobic Nosebleed has come to a close.

The singer announced her decision on Facebook, stating:

“Tired of being bullied by dudes. Salome and now Agoraphobic Nosebleed.

I quit Agoraphobic Nosebleed tonight. Hopefully, I find a band that respects me and treats me as an equal.”

The grindcore group has issued their statement, expressing they had “some disagreements with Kat about how we should interact in the band.” The band has also revealed they are going to write new music once guitarist/band’s mastermind Scott Hull finishes touring with his other project, Pig Destroyer.

News update: We’ve had some disagreements with Kat about how we should interact in the band, and as a result she quit. We wish her well with music in the future.

Scott has some writing and recording to wrap up with Pig Destroyer, and after that he’ll start writing music for the next ANb record.”

Hopefully, it won’t take long until Katz joins another band that will be a better fit for her. We aren’t fully sure how this escalated as Katz also appeared on a few Pig Destroyer albums including their latest effort, Head Cage.
