Earache Records is getting creative with their marketing budgets, announcing that they now sponsor UFC Fighter Dan Hardy. As far as I can tell, the sponsorship means Hardy will wear Earache band shirts as he makes his way to the ring, erm – octagon, and flexes for the crowd. And he’ll say nice things about the label, too:

“I’m really excited to be with Earache Records! I have been listening to bands on their label since I was in my teens and to now be working with them is great. I think both parties will benefit from the collaboration.”

I gotta figure out how to get labels to sponsor my morning power walks. Let me tell you, I generate lots of impressions between here and the end of the driveway. And these tightie-whities have got plenty of room for advertisers.
