Living in New York City has its perks including seeing a show nearly every night. However, these advantages do have setbacks with the inevitable scheduling conflicts. Children Of Bodom is a metal band from Espoo, Finland. No category can contain them; rather, they span many a designation. Today it is more metal than ever to have your own beer! Having a huge name in metal like Children Of Bodom will help you sell some six packs but it also helps to have a great story!
On the heels of the release of another legendary bands new brew, Children Of Bodom are throwing their collective hats in the ring partnering with Fat Lizard Brewing Co. and creating Lake Bodom Pre-Prohibition Lager, a beer brewed using water from Lake Bodom itself.
The lake resides in the bands hometown of Espoo, Finland and is the scene of a brutal incident in 1960 in which three teenagers were murdered and a fourth badly injured. The case is as yet unsolved and was the inspiration for the bands name. Indeed a great story.
Watch for Lake Bodom Pre-Prohibition Lager as it became available in Finland, on February 1st.
