Coronavirus: Dark Fortress’ record release shows CANCELLED

Posted by on March 22, 2020

Dark Fortress were forced to cancel their release shows due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Yesterday our show in Rotterdam officially got canceled due to the prevailing situation regarding to the spread of Covid-19, today the show in Munich… It is just a matter of time until every show will be down, so under the current circumstances of event size restrictions and a growing number of travel bans which affect some members of the band already, it simply doesn’t make any sense trying to tour at the moment, therefore we have no other choice than canceling the whole tour.

-V. Santura / Dark Fortress”

Today In Metal: Dark Fortress’ ‘Ylem’ was released four years ago

Posted by on January 22, 2014

Today in 2010, the most recent album from Dark Fortress, their sixth, was released in some territories of Europe. The lead guitar work on Ylem is amazing for a black metal album. And yes, lead guitar work on a black metal album. I am amazed, too. I was so happy to hear the production is […]
