mansonWe’ve always maintained that Sons of Anarchy is a dope show, so it comes as little surprise that Marilyn Manson will be appearing on the show’s seventh and presumably final season. The Hollywood Reporter, er, reports that Manson will play Ron Tully, a white supremacist prisoner that Jax works with to expand his power base. Manson is no stranger to television, having just made an oddball cameo on Eastbound and Down last year. He’s also appeared on the big screen, in Lost Highway and Jawbreaker, among others. Here’s what Manson had to say about appearing on the show:

Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” Manson said in a statement. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

Regular readers of creator Kurt Sutter’s Twitter have already known that Manson would be appearing on the show’s upcoming season. Back in April, Sutter revealed that he’d be on the show in a tweet. “look for him in season 7,” the tweet read. “He’ll be the guy riding the dragon.”
