Black Cobra wreck their van in Texas

Posted by on November 17, 2015

Back in August YOB announced a month-long tour with two-person doom band Black Cobra. Unfortunately, with just four dates remaining, Black Cobra got into a pretty bad accident yesterday, but thankfully came away unharmed.

Said the band via Facebook:

“We just had a pretty crazy accident in the middle of Texas, but after a couple van flips, we made it out alive and pretty much unscathed except for a couple scratches. We are now rolling with the amazing gents in ‪#‎Yob‬ and will be finishing out the remaining tour dates with them. Thank you to everyone who has sent their thoughts our way. Remember to wear your seat belts…”

Black Cobra will release Imperium Simulacra on February 26th, next year on Season of Mist. This will be their fifth full-length album, and will follow 2011’s Invernal which came out on Southern Lord.

Black Cobra, YOB 2015 tour dates:

11/18 Club Congress – Tucson, AZ
11/19 Brick By Brick – San Diego, CA
11/20 Echo – Los Angeles, CA
11/21 Metro – Oakland, CA
