‘Death To All’ Leads To Life Together For Two

Posted by on June 28, 2012

In addition to being a once in a lifetime special tour that every metalhead should go to, the “Death to All” tour is a celebration of Chuck Schuldiner’s life, legacy and music. That’s why the Chicago show on Tuesday (26) at the House of Blues was even more special when metalhead named Kyle Messick took the stage to propose to his girlfriend Valeskandrea “Crystal” Bunkelman.

“I’ve been with this lovely lady for four years now,” he told the crowd. “She’s pretty great. We may disagree with the little things, like what the best Death record is, but I love her very much and I don’t want to stop at four years, so right now, Crystal (sp?), I’m going to ask you if you’ll marry me.”

He then dropped to one knee and gave her a ring. She said yes, the happy couple was whisked off stage, and the band broke into “Voice of the Soul.” Congratulations, guys!
